We have helped the client to gain listed building/ planning consent to repair the terrace, and adapt it for modern living, whilst maintaining its traditional materials of lime, wood and stone.
The property is the only remaining terrace in its row not to have been altered, and so it was our intention to retain as much as possible and only repair where necessary.
The stone slate roof was repaired with the underside re-torched (lime plastered with hair mix) and the plaster consolidated where possible and replaced where necessary with a lime plaster to match the existing. THe whole was limewashed including the timbers and underside of the roof.
