GREYS COURT
Initial sketch to client

Greys Court
is a National Trust property in Oxfordshire near Henley-on-Thames. It is a beautiful mix of brick and flint buildings which have in part gentle decayed creating a series of garden rooms around the small estate. The Cherry Garden is just one of these outside rooms.

The commission was for a set of decorative metal gates to compliment the existing arbour at the entrance to the cherry orchard in the gardens at Grey’s Court, and was for the owner Lady Brunner and the National Trust.

The gates were made by IJP workshops of Binfield Heath and are now completed and in place, painted to blend in with and reflect the surrounding gardens.
